Press & facts

One line

CareerID is an early-career hiring platform where candidates are ranked by a proctored skill score generated from the job description, rather than by CGPA, resume keywords or referrals.

Boilerplate

CareerID is a hiring platform for early-career talent in India. Each job posting can carry a JD Score assessment generated from that job's own description — a proctored, four-layer test covering breadth, applied understanding, hands-on execution in real code and SQL, and scenario reasoning — producing a single score from 0 to 10. Employers review a ranked pipeline and interview shortlisted candidates inside the platform, using a built-in interview room with a code runner, SQL sandbox and shared whiteboard. Scoring below an employer's cutoff never rejects an application automatically. CareerID is free for candidates and charges employers.

What CareerID is not

Included because a comparison needs the tradeoff, and because we would rather you print this than infer something wrong.

  • Not one of the large job boards. Naukri, LinkedIn and Indeed carry vastly more listings. CareerID covers a narrower, mostly technical, early-career set.
  • Not global. India only.
  • Not a course or certification provider. It assesses existing skill; it does not teach or sell training.
  • Not a guarantee of pay disclosure on every listing. Employers are encouraged to publish a range and most do, but a posting can be published without one.
  • Not an auto-rejection system. There is no score at which an application is rejected automatically. This is the most commonly misreported thing about the product.
